September 23, 2006:
  • Added information to "The Slaver Weapon" and References pages pertaining to the three story treatments written by Larry Niven for the Animated STAR TREK series. The information was learned from page 503 of Niven's Playgrounds of the Mind book published in 1991.
  • Also added an anecdote to "The Slaver Weapon" and the Traitor's Claw pages pertaining to the Kzin spaceship's color.
  • Added a bit more information to the Background History page.
  • Added several more books to the References page.

July 23, 2006:
  • Updated the note on this site's Main page listing many extra features and official box art.

June 11, 2006:
  • Corrected information on the S.S. Bonaventure page pertaining to the ship's registry number which had been incorrect on this site for years. The correct registry number is NCC-10283.

December 21, 2005:
  • The Animated STAR TREK series will be released on DVD in the Fall of 2006. I added a note to this site's Main page giving details of the release.

January 15, 2005:
  • Added a note about the STAR TREK Starfleet Corps of Engineers novel #44 which is a direct sequel to the Animated STAR TREK episode "The Time Trap."

    By the way, the book features a Starfleet character named Lieut. Cmdr Curt Danhauser in honor of me!


May 10, 2003:
  • Added a note about my involvement with the Animated STAR TREK Trading Cards to the main page and I added a banner link to scifihobby.com the web site of Rittenhouse Archives the makers of the Trading Cards. It is about time that the Forgotten STAR TREK series got the full trading card treatment.

  • Added a note to the "Beyond the Farthest Star" episode page about its being the first episode and how it had aired seven years to the day after the original series debuted.
  • Added a note about a direct tie-in between the animated episode "Yesteryear" and an episode of the Enterprise television series.
  • Added information about James Schmerer to the "The Survivor" episode page.
  • Added a note to the "Bem" episode page about how Bem's disconnected body parts were able to float and move about in midair.
  • To the "Once Upon a Planet" page, I added a mention of Uhura's singing in that episode.
  • Added a note to the "The Jihad" episode page about it being the last episode of the first season.
  • Added information about a direct tie-ins between the animated episode "The Time Trap" and STAR TREK: Voyager.
  • Added a note to the "The Pirates of Orion" episode page concerning George Takei doing the voices of three characters in the episode and the fact that it was the first episode of the second season.
  • Added a note to the "The Counter-Clock Incident" episode page about how the U.S.S. Enterprise's first commander Robert April and this episode were mentioned in Mike and Denise Okuda's STAR TREK Chronology books.
  • Added to the Uniforms and Insignia page a mention and an illustration of the yellow command female duty uniform.
  • I also added a mention of the sixth-season STAR TREK: Deep Space Nine episode "One Little Ship" to the Series History page.

August 13, 2002:
  • Added a note about the last appearance of the smooth-foreheaded Klingons to the "The Time Trap" page.

  • Added a note to the Notes page about dialogue in the seventh season STAR TREK: Voyager episode "Q2" that supports my assumption that Kirk's first five-year mission ended in 2270 and not in 2269.

  • Added a note to the Lieutenant M'Ress and the Lieutenant Arex pages about the appearances of those two characters in two novels published by Pocket Books in October and November 2001.

  • Added images to several sections within the full graphics version of the Questions & Answers page.
  • Added a picture depicting what M'Ress looked like in the 1975 STAR TREK children's record comic book to the Lieutenant M'Ress page.

  • Removed the note from the Main page about the Animated STAR TREK airing on Nick At Nite's TV Land. That network no longer airs the series.
  • Added information to the Lieutenant Arex page about his appearing in the 1988 STAR TREK novel "Time for Yesterday."

  • Put up a new STAR TREK site. This one is a tribute to the Gold Key STAR TREK comics that were published from 1967 to 1979. My site is based on the site Mark Lookabaugh once had online.

February 5, 1999:
  • Added a page that contains information about Filmation Associates the production company that created the Animated STAR TREK series in 1973 and 1974.

December 31, 1998:
  • Added information about three direct tie-ins between the animated episode "Yesteryear" and STAR TREK: Deep Space Nine and STAR TREK: Voyager.
  • Added a note to the "The Pirates of Orion" episode page concerning the crew's pronunciation of the word "Orion."

December 11, 1998:
  • Added nine more frequently asked questions and their answers to the Questions & Answers page.

November 22, 1998:
  • This site was listed in the December 1998 issue of Yahoo! Internet Life magazine. The site was listed in the EccenTrek section of the magazine's STAR TREK on the Net - Best of Trek article.
  • There is an excellent article on the Animated STAR TREK series in the October/November issue of STAR TREK Communicator magazine. The article's writer, Kevin Dilmore, used this site as a reference, and he also interviewed my friend, and STAR TREK script writer, Fred Bronson.
  • Added information about a direct tie-in between the animated episode "The Time Trap" and the STAR TREK: Deep Space Nine episode "Once More Unto the Breach."

  • Added information to the Main page, Episodes List page, Questions & Answers page and each episode page concerning video tapes of the Animated STAR TREK series being available online from Amazon.com.

March 17, 1998:
  • Added information to the Comic Tie-In page about the August 1972 Gold Key Comic which formed the basis of the November 24, 1973 Animated STAR TREK episode "The Time Trap."

March 8, 1998:
  • Put a new web site online. It is Curt Danhauser's Guide to STAR TREK: New Frontier. It is devoted to the series of STAR TREK novels written by Peter David and published by Pocket Books in the Summer of 1997 and thereafter. The novels chronicle the adventures of Captain Mackenzie Calhoun and the crew of the U.S.S. Excalibur.

February 27, 1998:
  • Modified information about author Russell Bates on the Notes page and corrected the spelling of his first name throughout the site.
  • Modified information on the "How Sharper Than A Serpent's Tooth" page and the Timeline page concerning Kukulkan's visit to Earth during the time of the Mayans and Aztecs. I had erroneously stated that Kukulkan must have visited Earth twice since the reign of the Mayans and Aztecs did not overlap. Instead, he had simply stayed on Earth for centuries, helping first the Mayans and later the Aztecs. This new information comes from episode author Russell Bates.
  • Added a link and reference to a STAR TREK: Deep Space Nine episode that was similar in concept to "The Terratin Incident".

February 19, 1998:
  • Added information to the Timeline page pertaining to the launch date for the S.S. Bonaventure. Also added this info to the S.S. Bonaventure page.

  • Finally added the Traitor's Claw Ship page. I had completed the graphics and text for the page back in August 1996, but I had hoped to redo the main ship graphic before uploading it to the web. Lack of time has prompted me to put the page up as is.

June 4, 1997:
  • This site was honored with a Warp 9 - Admiral Award from the STAR TREK Zone, and I added a link to my Main page.

  • Added information concerning a tie-in to a STAR TREK: Voyager episode to the notes on the "The Lorelei Signal" page.

  • Updated all STAR TREK: The Next Generation episode links, as the site I was linked to no longer exists.

  • Was honored with a Captain Rating from STAR TREK: WWW, and I added the requisite badge to my Main page. I got the rating some weeks ago but had trouble accessing Mr. Sambucci's site as it is not friendly to non-frame browsers. It is nice to offer the latest bells and whistles on your site but I think you do a better service to your visitors if you offer a more spartan version of your pages as well.
